The prospect of a misty early morning giving way to bright sunshine took me up to Coaley Point, 5,5 kilometres south-west of Stroud arriving about 08:00. Despite waiting for just over a hour the sun didn't make the promised breakthrough, in fact as I type this at 13:40 the sun eventually deigns to show its face. I wandered up to the viewing point and on the way back I was attracted to the line of trees disappearing off into the mist, a couple of dog walkers added interest. Despite a slight disappointment, I did manage to grab some quarter or half decent shots. Not convinced about the dog walker picture, it needs a shot in the arm.
Ahhh! The kitchen timer! The bread must be baked!
